These compact, high performance fluxgate magnetometers provide precision measurements of static and alternating magnetic fields in three axes. They are available with measuring ranges options from ±70 up to ±1000µT. Output is in the form of three analog voltages, with a bandwidth of DC to 3kHz..

The Mag-03 sensors offer superb low noise performance and temperature stability in a very small package.

A range of accessories is available for the Mag-03 range including the Spectramag-6 spectrum analyser & logger, a new power supply unit, PSU1, and a new signal conditioning unit SCU1. Both PSU1 and SCU1 are also compatible with other sensors including Mag648 and MAg-03RC.

Applications include measurements of the geomagnetic and other background fields, use as feedback elements in Helmholtz coils and active shielding systems for MRI and electron microscopes and the measurement of the effectiveness of passive shielding. The sensors are also used in orientation sensing, magnetic signature ranges and other defence systems.
