Many physics experiments must be conducted in a reduced or near zero magnetic field.

The Mag-01 single axis vector magnetometer is well suited to routine measurement of laboratory background fields and secondary calibration of magnetic sources up to 2mT. A cryogenically compatible probe can be supplied with this instrument.

The Mag-03 magnetometer can be used as the sensor in servo-controlled field compensation systems and for field monitoring in three axes. It can be supplied with probes for high-vacuum use.

Bartington Instruments also manufactures acquisition units for its three-axis magnetometers. This includes power supply unit,  Mag-03PSU, signal conditioning unit, Mag-03SCU and spectrum analyser, Spectramag-6. The later is ideal to survey and analyse a magnetic field in the time and frequency domain.
