Bartington products play an important role in a variety of industrial environments, where accurate magnetic field measurements facilitate operational processes.

For traffic monitoring, a range of surveillance instruments are available at low unit cost, including the Mag670 Compact Single Axis Sensor.

Mag-03 Three-Axis Sensors or the Mag-01H Single Axis Magnetometer are used in quality control of non-magnetic and magnetic materials, for example to monitor the magnetic remanence of manufactured parts.

Mag-03 Sensors are incorporated in the Earth's magnetic field cancellation systems and can be used to calibrate magnetometers in product manufacturing (e.g. compasses in mobile phones).

The Bartington Magnetic Susceptibility System is used in the manufacture of magnetic components such as inks for banknotes and rheological fluids. It is also used to maximise the extraction of iron from iron ore.
