Repairs

All instruments returned for repair are inspected as soon as possible and a response issued within 2 working days of receipt of equipment. This will be a written quotation for the cost of the repair and estimated delivery time. For standard products the delivery time will usually be within 7 days of receipt of authorisation from the customer to proceed.

Calibration Service

All Bartington Instruments sensors are provided with a certificate of calibration in accordance with our published specifications and the provisions of ISO10012-1.  A calibration service is available for the entire Mag-03 range of sensors, Grad601single and dual Gradiometer systems and Mag-01 Mag probes (including cryogenic probes).

Generally, instruments returned for calibration cannot be adjusted to their original specification, as this would destroy the integrity of the instrument.

The calibration certificate can include pre-calibration status upon receipt by Bartington Instruments, if required.

For calibration, the standard turn-around is two to three working days. If notification of calibration requirements is received in advance the service can be scheduled to minimise any delay.

General

After calibration or repair, instruments are cleaned and, where appropriate, new calibration labels are applied.
